Cranberry Spice Seed Crackers

Updated: Jan 16, 2020

We've recently been told that we have to switch Master 9 to Gluten Free to help with gut health and his emotional volatility.

Master 9's not that keen on going gluten free as he thinks that the food is yuck, so I'm trying to find inventive and tasty ways to get Gluten Free into him.

One thing that I've come up with is this Cranberry Spice Seed Crackers.

They are super easy to make and go down a treat with Master 12.

These seed crackers are full of healthy Omega's and Fibre with the combination of sesame, sunflower, pumpkin, Chia and Linseed seeds.

They are super easy to make too which is an added bonus!

  • 1/2 Cup each pumpkin and sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 Cup each sesame, chia and linseed

  • 1 Cup water

  • 1/4 Cup cranberries chopped

  • 1/4 Teaspoon magic dust mix (paprika, onion powder, cayenne, cumin powder, garlic and mustard with chili 🌶)

  1. Roughly grind seeds, add spice and mix in water with cranberries.

  2. Let mixture sit for 15 mins to thicken

  3. Place onto lined baking tray and spread out to about 4 mm thick

  4. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 mins. Remove from oven and slice.

  5. Return to oven for further 20 mins.

  6. Once done, break apart and flip over. Turn oven off and leave in oven to cool

Delicious with hummus or fruit paste
